
Daniel Tischer is a student of philosophy, art history and modern German literature (M.A.) both at the University of Freiburg and – through the EUCOR programme – at the University of Basel. During his year abroad at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Daniel dealt extensively with twentieth-century Spanish art.
In 2001, he worked as an undergraduate assistant at Freiburg University’s department of art history, where he was in charge of computing.
During an international workshop in 2005, he participated in the reproduction of Allan Kaprow’s ‘Happening Fluids’, which was presented by the HGK Basel, an art school, the University of Basel and by the gallery Hauser & Wirth Zürich, London. In December of 2005, Daniel took part in a student symposium in Düsseldorf which dealt with the Matisse exhibition, his contribution being ‘La Danse als Bewegungszitat in den Stillleben von Matisse’.
For the akträume project, Daniel is responsible for design and maintenance of the web page, as well as for public relations and is a conceptual advisor.
